The event

One night, three rooms, ten hours indoors.

METROPULSE is a single night indoor event in a terminal building on the Brooklyn waterfront. Three rooms, ten hours, and a deliberate decision to run it midweek so the city is quiet on the way out at four in the morning.

The main room is the terminal floor itself, 40 foot ceilings and a hung sound system rather than a stacked one. The Substation is the old machine room in the basement, low and dark, and it is the reason we took this building. Rooftop 14 sits above the loading dock with the skyline directly across the water.

This is not a scaled down outdoor festival moved inside. The programming, the timing and the production are built specifically for a room with a roof on it.

Ten hour night

Doors 6:00 PM, close 4:00 AM. Sets get room to breathe, and the closing slot is a full two hours.

Three rooms, three temperatures

The Terminal for scale, The Substation for pure techno, Rooftop 14 for house and disco with the skyline behind the booth.

Hung system, not stacked

A flown line array in a 40 foot room. You can hold a conversation at the bar and still feel the low end on the floor.

Built for a Wednesday

Subway runs all night, the streets are empty at four, and you are not fighting a weekend crowd to get home.

Water and heat

Free refill stations at every stage on every site. Empty hydration packs are welcome. If someone is overheating, medical is closer than you think and nobody gets in trouble for asking.

Medical

Licensed medical teams on site with response targets under 90 seconds anywhere on the grounds. Look for the white and green flags, or tell any staff member in a marked vest.

Harm reduction

Trained harm reduction teams work the floor at every event. They are not security and they are not police. Talk to them.

Zero tolerance for harassment

Report it to any staff member or text the on site line printed on your wristband. We remove people and we do not negotiate about it.

Text a human

Every wristband carries a live text line staffed for the entire event. Lost friend, unsafe situation, someone in trouble, anything. It reaches a person, not a bot.

Accessibility

Accessible viewing platforms, step free routes, accessible restrooms and companion entry at all three events. Email access@tmfestivals.live ahead of the date and a host will meet you at the gate.

Full policies, accessibility details and the cashless system are on the info page.

Getting there and back

New York City logistics

The terminal is a short walk from three subway lines and a ferry landing. Driving into this part of Brooklyn on an event night is the worst of the available options.

Subway

The closest stations are a 9 to 14 minute walk. Trains run all night, which is the main reason a Wednesday works. Check for late night service changes before you leave.

Ferry

The NYC Ferry landing is 6 minutes from the door. Last boats leave well before the close, so plan the ferry as an inbound option only.

Rideshare

One designated pickup zone two blocks east of the venue. At 4:00 AM the queue and the surge are both real. Budget for it or take the train.

Driving and parking

There is no venue parking. Nearby garages are limited and most close before 2:00 AM, which means your car is stuck until morning. We do not recommend driving.

Getting home

The exit at 4:00 AM is staffed and lit, with staff walking the route to the subway until 4:45 AM. Take the walk with people rather than alone.

Where to stay

Downtown Brooklyn and Williamsburg hotels are the practical options and both are a short ride from the door. Book midweek rates early, they move once the lineup is public.

Questions

METROPULSE
FAQ

Still stuck? Email tickets@tmfestivals.live and a human answers.

When do tickets go on sale?
The on sale date has not been announced. Register your email on this page and you will get the presale code and a 48 hour head start before general on sale. Registration is free and does not obligate you to buy.
Does registering guarantee me a ticket?
No. Registration guarantees you the presale code and early access to the window. It does not reserve inventory. Presale for this room typically clears a large share of the allocation.
Why a Wednesday?
Because the building is available midweek, the trains run all night, and the walk out at four in the morning is calm instead of chaotic. Program the night correctly and the day of the week stops mattering.
Is this event 18+ or 21+?
Entry is 18+ with a valid government photo ID. Anyone drinking must be 21+ and will be banded at the door. Expired IDs and photos of IDs are not accepted.
Is there re-entry?
No. This is a single entry event. Once you scan in, leaving ends your night. Plan your smoke breaks around the two outdoor areas on site.
What is the bag policy?
Small bags only, up to 10 by 8 inches, and every bag is searched at the door. Coat check is available and is included with GA+ and above.
Will the lineup change?
Set times are confirmed close to the date and are subject to change. If a headliner cancels outright we announce a replacement or open a refund window, and we will say which one within 72 hours.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Step free access to all three rooms via elevator, an accessible viewing platform in The Terminal and on Rooftop 14, and accessible restrooms on every level. Email access@tmfestivals.live before the date so we can have a host meet you at the door.
