Privacy policy

What we collect

If you register for a presale, join a waitlist or sign up for announcements, we collect your email address and which events you selected. That is the entire signup record.

If you buy a ticket, our ticketing processor collects your name, email, billing address and payment details in order to issue and support the ticket. We receive your name, email and order details. We never receive or store full card numbers.

We collect basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used: pages viewed, referring site, approximate region and device type. This is not tied to your name and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To send you the thing you asked for: presale codes, waitlist releases, lineup announcements and set time changes.

To issue, transfer, support and where necessary refund tickets.

To understand which pages people actually use so we can fix the ones they do not.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share or rent your email address to sponsors, partners, promoters or anyone else. We do not run third party advertising trackers on this site.

We do not email you about an event you did not select, and we do not add you to a list you did not ask for.

Who else touches your data

Our email provider, in order to actually deliver the emails. Our ticketing and payment processors, in order to sell and support tickets. Our hosting and analytics providers, in order to serve and measure the site. Each of these processes data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Signup records are kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days. Order records are kept for seven years because tax and consumer protection law requires it. Aggregated analytics are kept for 24 months.

Your choices

Every email has a one click unsubscribe and it works immediately. You can also email us and ask for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it within 30 days and we will not ask you why.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of functional cookies and local storage entries to remember your signup state and preferences. We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Our New York and Miami events are 18+. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will email everyone on the list rather than quietly updating the page.
